  23. Oops.  Too many new things at once.
  24. I had just installed the Linux 9 box.
  25. I forgot that I had also installed a new monitor and a silly program called
  26. Display Switcher along with it.

  28. That was sucking up CPU cycles, which only seemed to bother Kermit-ssh
  29. initially.  Later in the day, it bothered other programs as well.
